This weeks 30 minute busy mom dinner is one straight from my meal prep cookbook that I also love to make for an easy dinner.
I just recently got a new Blackstone Grill and I have been wanting to cook anything and everything on it and I knew this meal was going to be so good cooked on it. I wanted to share this recipe with all of you as part of this series!
Ingredients:
- ground beef- I really love to use bison because it so much more flavorful, but you can also do ground turkey or chicken if you prefer.
- onion
- salt + pepper
- coconut aminos or soy sauce
- sesame oil
- ginger- fresh is so much better
- beef broth
- honey
- garlic
- green onions

I really think cooking this dinner on the blackstone added so much flavor and got everything super crispy! If you do not have one yet, I highly suggest purchasing one, especially if you are a busy mom like me. I am able to cook so much on this grill all at once and sunday morning breakfast has become a breeze by cooking it all at once.
30 minute busy mom dinner series
I started this series thinking it would be a few quick and easy options for busy weeknights, but I really don’t see this series ever ending or at least anytime soon!
obviously you don’t have to be a mom to make these meals and enjoy them, but I did set out with a purpose and that was to help moms feel a little less stressed in the kitchen when it came to putting easy + healthy meals on the table for their family!
I hope you enjoy this series! Don’t forget to follow along for more!

- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger or 1 tsp fresh
- 1/2 cup beet broth

Let's Make It
- Add onions + beef to a large skillet or to the flat top, cook over medium high heat, breaking up the meat as you cook it, season with salt + pepper.
- Once the meat is almost cooked through and no longer pink, add the chopped broccoli to the pan with the coconut aminos, sesame oil, ginger, bone broth, honey + garlic- toss everything to coat the broccoli.
- Turn the heat down slightly and cover to cook for another 5-10 minutes or until the broccoli is tender. If using a flat top, you can throw a bowl over it, or just let it cook on low until the broccoli is tender.
