Tips for this Meal

1. Preheat the Sheet Pan: To achieve that desirable crispiness, preheat the sheet pan in the oven before adding the ingredients. This step helps ensure that the gnocchi and sausage get that golden brown color and irresistible texture.

2. Distribute Ingredients Evenly: When placing the gnocchi, sausage, and broccolini on the sheet pan, make sure to distribute them evenly. This ensures even cooking and prevents some parts from becoming overcooked while others remain underdone.

 3. Adjust Spice Levels: If you prefer a milder flavor, consider using sweet Italian sausage instead of the hot variety. Additionally, you can adjust the amount of Italian seasoning and garlic powder according to your taste preferences.

 4. Check for Doneness: Keep an eye on the sheet pan as it roasts in the oven. Different ovens may have varying cooking times, so check for doneness after 25 minutes. The sausage should be cooked through, the gnocchi should be crispy, and the broccolini should be tender.

 5. Garnish and Serve Fresh: For an added burst of freshness and flavor, consider topping your dish with a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese or a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving. This extra touch can elevate the overall taste and presentation of the meal.

 6. Experiment with Vegetables: While broccolini is a great choice, feel free to experiment with other vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, or asparagus. This allows you to customize the dish to your liking and incorporate seasonal produce for added freshness and variety.

By following these tips, you can ensure that your sheet pan gnocchi with hot Italian sausage comes out perfectly seasoned, beautifully roasted, and bursting with flavor. Enjoy the process of creating this simple yet delicious meal!
