Bang Bang Salmon Bowls

This incredibly tasty, yet easy dinner is on the table in less than 20 minutes with minimal clean up, you will want to add this into your weekly rotation!

You guys loved my air fryer bang bang chicken and I knew that the sauce would be so yummy over salmon, but this next level! The salmon gets so crispy yet stays so juicy and tender, it pair so well with the fresh veggies and rice!

INGREDIENTS:

  • salmon 
  • paprika
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • salt 
  • mayonnaise- I use avocado oil mayonnaise
  • sweet chili sauce- found in the asian section at the grocery store 
  • sriracha 
  • honey 
  • rice
  • shredded cabbage
  • shredded carrots
  • cucumbers

Can I make this in the oven?

 

– YES! I would follow up all of the same steps, but add it to a sheet pan and cook it at 425 degrees on the top rack for 15ish minutes.

Bang Bang Salmon Bowls

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • air fryer tray/basket

Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz salmon cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups sliced cucmbers
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup avocado oil mayo
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey

Let's Make It
 

  • Cut the salmon into chunks, season with salt, garlic, onion and paprika.
  • In a small bowl add all of the ingredients for the bang bang sauce and stir until the sauce is smooth
  • In a air fryer tray or basket (mine is linked above) add the salmon and 1/2 cup of the bang bang sauce, toss to coat the salmon.
  • Place in the air fryer at 400℉ for 10 minutes or until the salmon is done and no longer a dark pink in the middle.
  • In the meantime, cook your rice and slice you cucumbers.
  • When the salmon is done, assemble your bowls with 1/2 cup of rice, 4-6oz of salmon, 1/2 cup of cucumbers, 1/4 cup of carrots and 1/2 cup of shredded cabbage.
