Creator: Leslie Stokes

Dinner does not get much easier than this! Recipes using ground meats are always an easy way to get dinner done, but they usually are are pretty heavy or kind of boring like tacos or spaghetti. This sticky beef is so incredibly flavorful and one that even the kids will love!

Ingredients:

  • ground beef– I love using bison for this recipe because its super lean and so flavorful, but you can do turkey or chicken as well.

  • rice– I do jasmine

  • green beans– washed, trimmed and cut in half

  • honey

  • oyster sauce– this is found in the asian section

  • coconut aminos or soy sauce

  • sriracha

  • sesame oil

  • garlic

  • salt + pepper

  • cornstarch

  • green onions

  • sesame seeds

This meal is pretty straight forward with nothing to overcomplicated and is pretty much a one pot meal, except for the rice!

The Prep:

I like to start this meal out by making the rice first because it takes the longest. I always cook my rice in the instant pot on the rice setting, but you can cook it however you prefer.

i would grab a large skillet with a lid for this meal. After you brown your meat, you add in the green beans, so you want to make sure the skillet is large enough to hold it all and still be covered.

Also, to save on time, you could mix the sauce ingredients (not the water)  together before making this meal.

30 minute busy mom dinner series

I started this series thinking it would be a few quick and easy options for busy weeknights, but I really don’t see this series ever ending or at least anytime soon!

obviously you don’t have to be a mom to make these meals and enjoy them, but I did set out with a purpose and that was to help moms feel a little less stressed in the kitchen when it came to putting easy + healthy meals on the table for their family!
