High Protein Buffalo Chicken Dip

 Looking for a tasty, protein-packed snack that’s quick to prep for the week? You have to try this High-Protein Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe! With just a few simple ingredients and less than 5 minutes of prep time, you can whip up a delicious dip that’s both satisfying and nutritious.

In efforts to meet my protein goal each week, I’m on a mission to find healthier snack options that are low in sugar, high in protein +  gluten free! This dip checks all of those boxes and fits the macros!

 

Ingredients:

 

  • chopped or shredded chicken– rotisserie, instant pot chicken, or even canned chicken will do. I personally just use my instant pot method to cook chicken because it’s fast and easy.
  • cottage cheese– may sub for greek yogurt
  • ranch seasoning
  • buffalo sauce
  • sharp cheddar cheese
  • green onions
  • celery or carrot sticks for dipping

If prepping ahead of time, cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

 

Storing Instructions: Store the prepared Buffalo Chicken Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

 

Reheating Instructions: When ready to enjoy, simply remove the dip from the refrigerator and uncover it. – Microwave on high for 6-90 seconds, depending on your microwave’s power and the desired temperature. – Stir halfway through the reheating process to ensure even heating. – Once heated through, it’s ready to serve!

 

Serve With:

Pair this delicious dip with celery sticks, carrot sticks, cucumber slices, or whole grain crackers for a satisfying crunch and added nutrition.

High Protein Buffalo Dip

This quick + easy High Protein Buffalo Chicken Dip is so easy to prep for the week and is a great way to help you reach your protein goals for the day.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup chopped or shredded chicken rotisserie, instant pot or even canned chicken will work
  • 1/4 cup blended cottage cheese I like to use an immersion blender to blend the cottage cheese right in the container
  • 1/2 tsp ranch seasoning
  • 1-2 tbsp buffalo sauce
  • 1/8 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • sliced green onions
  • celery sticks for dipping

Let's Make It
 

  • In a small, microwave safe bowl, mix together everything except for the sharp cheddar cheese and green onions.
  • Top with cheddar cheese + green onions.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • To reheat- place in the microwave for about 90 seconds. use celery or carrot sticks for dipping.
