One thing that has completely changed the way I cook during the week is protein prepping marinade.
Instead of spending hours meal prepping full meals on Sunday, I simply mix together a few marinades, add my proteins, and let the refrigerator do the work. It takes less than 30 minutes, and when dinner rolls around during the week, most of the work is already done.
This Chili Crisp Salmon Marinade is one of my favorites because it packs so much flavor with just a handful of ingredients. The combination of chili crisp, fresh ginger, garlic, lime, sesame oil, and coconut aminos creates the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just enough heat.
It’s perfect for healthy weeknight dinners and works beautifully whether you’re baking, grilling, or cooking salmon in the air fryer.

Tips for the best marinade
- Fresh ginger makes a huge difference.
