Creator: Leslie Stokes

If there’s one dinner I’ll be making on repeat all summer long, it’s these Hot Honey Salmon Bowls.
They have everything I want in a warm-weather meal: fresh peaches, flaky salmon, crisp veggies, creamy avocado, and just the right amount of heat from hot honey. Every bite is packed with flavor, color, and texture, making it one of those dinners that feels restaurant-worthy but comes together with minimal effort.
The peach salsa is what truly makes this recipe special. Sweet, juicy peaches are combined with lime juice, jalapeño, cilantro, and red onion to create a fresh topping that pairs perfectly with the smoky salmon. Add everything over a bed of rice and finish with an extra drizzle of hot honey, and you have a dinner that’s simple enough for a busy weeknight but impressive enough to serve guests.
My youngest asks for salmon every week, so I’m always looking for new ways to serve it. This recipe has become an instant favorite because it’s fresh, colorful, and tastes like summer in a bowl.

Tips for the Best Salmon Bowls
Use Fresh, Ripe Peaches
The sweeter the peaches, the better the salsa. Look for peaches that give slightly when gently squeezed.
Don’t Overcook the Salmon
Salmon continues cooking slightly after it’s removed from the oven or air fryer. Cook just until flaky for the best texture.
Customize Your Bowls
These bowls are incredibly versatile. Try adding:
- Black beans
- Mango
- Corn
- Pickled onions
- Cotija cheese
- Shredded cabbage
Make Coconut Rice
For an extra layer of flavor, swap traditional jasmine rice for coconut rice. The slight sweetness pairs beautifully with the peaches and hot honey.
