Taco Skillet

Using just a few simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, this taco skillet is on the table in less than 30 minutes. It packs a ton of flavor and it's one the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground turkey, chicken or beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion or 2 tsp onion powder
  • 16 oz salsa
  • 2-3 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 can corn drained
  • 1 can (15.25oz) black beans drained
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped

Toppings:

  • shredded lettuce
  • avocado
  • tortilla chips
  • sour cream
  • onions
  • cheese

Let's Make It
 

  • Add 2lbs of ground turkey and onions to a pan over medium high heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
  • Once the turkey is no longer pink, add in all of the other ingredients (except for the toppings). Stir until combined, turn down the heat and cover. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes or until ready to eat.
  • Serve with toppings of choice and enjoy!
