Red, White & Blue Watermelon Berry Salad with Honey Lime Dressing
This easy patriotic watermelon berry salad is the perfect 4th of July side dish. Made with fresh watermelon, berries, mozzarella stars, basil, and a honey lime dressing, it’s fresh, festive, and ready in minutes.

For the Salad
- 8 cups cubed watermelon
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup blackberries
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella
- ¼ cup fresh basil thinly sliced
Honey Lime Dressing
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon lime zest
- 1 teaspoon champagne vinegar or white balsamic vinegar
- Pinch of sea salt
Arrange cubed watermelon on a large serving platter.
Scatter raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries evenly over the watermelon.
Cut star shapes from watermelon slices and mozzarella slices using a small cookie cutter.
Place the stars throughout the platter.
Sprinkle with fresh basil.
In a small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients.
Drizzle over the salad just before serving.
Finish with flaky sea salt if desired.
