Protein Dough

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ¼ cups flour or gluten free 1:1
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Toppings

  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup turkey pepperoni or chicken sausage
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup red onion
  • Italian seasoning
  • Chili flakes optional

Let's Make It
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Blend cottage cheese and egg until smooth.
  • In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the cottage cheese mixture until a dough forms.
  • Press dough thinly onto a parchment lined sheet pan.
  • Pre-bake crust 8–10 minutes.
  • Add pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  • Bake another 8–10 minutes until bubbly.
  • Slice into 8 pieces and serve.
