Let's Make It
1. Prep the WingsStart by patting the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove any moisture—this is key for crispy skin. Toss the wings in a bowl with baking powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Preheat the Air FryerPreheat your air fryer to 400°F. This helps the wings cook evenly and crisp up faster.
3. Air Fry the WingsPlace the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy. For safety, check that the internal temperature is at least 165°F.
4. Make the Hot Honey SauceWhile the wings are cooking, combine the honey, hot sauce, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper in a small saucepan. Heat over low, stirring until smooth.
5. Toss and ServeOnce the wings are done, toss them in the hot honey sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing, celery sticks, and plenty of napkins!
