In a small bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: oat flour, cocoa powder, salt , baking soda, baking powder and set aside
In a large bowl mix the wet ingredients together: coconut oil, eggs, maple syrup, apple sauce, vanilla- whisk until smooth***if your coconut oil hardens because the eggs or maple syrup is cold- fill a bowl with hot water and place the bowl with the wet ingredients over the bowl of hot water for a few minutes. This will slightly warm up the wet ingredients just enough so that the coconut oil melts.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet and stir until combined
Fold in the chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate bar
Line an 8x8 brownie pan with parchment paper, pour in the brownie batter and bake at 350℉ for 22-25 minutes!
Let the Brownies cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into 12 squares!
